A couple of announcements

Our featured artist for the August ArtWalk is Jeff Schaezle.  A local sculptor, Jeff primarily works in stone although we have a couple of his bronze pieces in the gallery.  We encourage anyone interested in a contemporary take on sculpture in this most traditional of materials to come and meet the artist August 3rd.

We also want our customers to keep an eye out for our all new website.  We hope this will make shopping a bit easier.  We'll also be on Facebook for those of you who gather there.  Keep checking back for updates.

ArtWalk featuring Connie Herberg

We have joined ArtWalk for the 2012 season and are proud to have Connie Herberg as our first featured artist.  Come join us Friday, May 4th and meet the artist.

The Jessica & Jessica Show

What a great show.  The art was well received as were the two guests of honor.  Jessica Durnell Smith and Jessica Zemsky made sure all of those who came out were treated to a fun evening of art and music.  The music was provided by one of our regular artists, James Poulson.  Thanks to everyone who came out for the reception and especially to our two artists.

More Dennis Boyd

While building on classic Western art traditions, Dennis Boyd is rapidly emerging as a fresh chronicler of the Western landscape and the distinct character of its inhabitants.  His art has begun to garner a loyal following among collectors in Montana.

Featured Artist: Dennis Boyd

  Dennis was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, into a family of craftsmen, musicians and writers. His natural artistic talents were encouraged early on, and flourished in this nurturing environment.

  Growing up, Dennis developed a strong work ethic and sense of self-reliance. His desire to learn led him to the Colorado Institute of Art, where he developed strong graphic design skills that helped him to earn a living, as well as exposing him to diverse aesthetic influences and standards of quality and exactness.

  His diligent design and illustration skills were honed and applied during nine years in group settings, after which he struck out and established his own design business in 1998, several years after moving to Montana.

  Dennis’ adopted state is a land which has proved to be an endless source of inspiration for his fine art projects, especially his paintings of landscapes and his candid portraits of working cowboys and ranchers. These works won him several awards at regional art competitions, including Honorable Mention, Reserve Best of Show and 2nd Place Acrylics at the Greater Yellowstone National Juried  Show in 1997 & 2003, and Best Portrait at the Cody Country Art League National Juried Show in 1997. Dennis was invited to attend the Estes Park Plein Air 2003, 2004 and 2005.

  He has continued his journey of exploration and enrichment spending more time toting his portable easel around searching for new subject matter in the Montana and Wyoming outdoors.

  We feel extremely honored to have Dennis among the artists we represent.  Enjoy these paintings and come back to see more in the coming days.
